Retailers are Recalling Simplicity Brand Cribs due to Suffocation Hazards

National retailers are voluntarily recalling 600,000 Simplicity Brand Drop Side Cribs due to a sizing problem in the crib’s hardware. The difference in size can permit the drop side to come off the track and create a hazardous gap. If a small child sleeping in the crib was to encounter the gap they could become trapped or suffocate. The cribs were sold at national retailers including but not limited to Target, Wal-Mart and Babies “R” US between January 2005 and August 2008. Affected Simplicity models include
